I've played samba (Brazilian Percussion) for about 16 years now, since i was a little nipper! :D and I LOVE IT. Can't get enough. So when I was asked to produce a publication on something I am obsessed with, I couldnt resist!

The Cake and Print Sale - The Fruit of our Labour

The Cake Sale - The Fruit of our Labour

The Fruit of our Labour - CAKES!

THE FRUIT OF OUR LABOUR - A Graphic Fundraiser.

My parents have always been Farmers (I should have been the 7th generation, what a let down it was when I picked up a pencil instead of a shovel) and we have a lovely Organic farm down in Mid-Devon, which about a year ago was joined by 3 hives of bee's! So, this year, we has a HUGE addition to our normal apple crop, You do the maths.. what wonderful little bee's they are!

So my folks, sweet as they are, turned up on my door step with, no joke, about 100 apples, their words were ' You like apples right? '

And I do... So we decided, myself and my lovely group of friends, to share them with the world, for a small fee...

We made Thousands of cakes, treats, toffee apples, pastries, cup cakes, and stickers to adorn, use and love our bundle of apples. All in all, with the help of some great artist donating prints and zines, and our delicous baking, we raised £200 towards our degree show in London!

Thai Boxing Publicity

My lovely boyfriend has just started a new course in Thai Boxing, after training for many years, he is starting to teach! (even I am going to his classes!... for those who know me... this is HUGE)

As I can't help him in any other way, I offered myself up as 'poster' girl.

Rythems Del Mundo - Africa

I was very lucky to be given the chance to pitch an idea for the new Rhythms Del Mundo album for Artist Project Earth who are an amazing Charity working causes from small scale ecosustainable projects, to large scale famine relief. They work closely with music, culture and people, I am really really lucky to be able to submit a piece of Illustration for them to consider!

The brief was a conceptual modern mix of Africa and the Western cultures, which is what the music itself if based on.

I used a photograph of traditional Malian Dancers on a quick break from their ceremony to welcome Kenny Young (Founder of A.P.E), whilst on a research trip to Africa.
