I was very lucky to be given the chance to pitch an idea for the new Rhythms Del Mundo album for
Artist Project Earth who are an amazing Charity working causes from small scale ecosustainable projects, to large scale famine relief. They work closely with music, culture and people, I am really really lucky to be able to submit a piece of Illustration for them to consider!
The brief was a conceptual modern mix of Africa and the Western cultures, which is what the music itself if based on.
I used a photograph of traditional Malian Dancers on a quick break from their ceremony to welcome Kenny Young (Founder of A.P.E), whilst on a research trip to Africa.
